Description

Thérèse Tierney is an architectural designer and a PhD candidate at the University of California Berkeley. During 2005 she studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Media Laboratory where she was engaged in research on computational systems. An award winning designer and instructor, Tierney is also the author of Abstract Space : Beneath the Media Surface{Routledge}, co-editor of Network Practice: New Strategies for Architecture and Design {Princeton Architectural Press} and essays in AD: Architectural Design and Leonardo: Journal of the International Society of Arts, Science and Technology.
