I am a recent graduate from Navrachana University, Gujarat, India.
Currently, I am working in a small office in Auroville, India. I am working here so that along with work, I can focus on building up my portfolio and think about the academic projects I have done in the past in new light and with more design maturity. The more i think about the way I think, the more I realize that I am fascinated by the modular nature of architecture. I can design more fluently when I think of the building as a kit of different parts which has to come together in the most beautiful and efficient way possible. Thinking of buildings as a kit of parts, I feel, helps me connect to the child in me; the way a child views infinite possibilities out of Legos.
The other thing which allures me is composing elements in a given frame. That is the reason why I have always been attracted to photography. For me photography works parallel to designing. Even when taking photographs, I always first identify the elements outside frame and then carefully select the ones I want to include into the frame.
Hope this gives you a small insight into me. The journey from now is going to be full of new experiences and I am very excited as to what new will unfold in my life.
