Satish Kumar is a trained passionate architect who believes that ‘once you start perceiving what you have, you start caring for it more’.He has won architecture photography competition and his photo story has been published on platforms such as designboom,scroll etc.
Satish started working as an Architect in the year 2011. He realized his inclination towards learning the representation of architecture in a visual frame quite early in his professional career. He believes that architecture cannot be portrayed as an isolated entity. The intent and the relationship between user and space have to be clear. From an enthusiastic amateur to a highly skilled professional, he and his lens have grown to be inseparable, capturing every day hundreds of moments of our fast-paced urban lives.
Through his photographs, he creates compelling visual narratives for his audience. He works to establish relationships between the built environment and the landscapes, its association with history and heritage and finally the interaction of various actors and participants with space. He threads even the smallest of all the details, generating a series of events which could capture the transformation of the space into a place.
