Studied Architecture in Izmir Institute of Technology followed by a Masters in Restoration from Middle East Technical University in Ankara. Currently pursuing PhD in Architecture with Oxford Brookes University in the Faculty of Technology Design and Environment in Oxford UK. I also had the chance to be an intern with US-ICOMOS International Exchange Program in Clemson University Historic Preservation in Charleston SC. In addition to practicing architecture primarily in architectural conservation projects, I have been teaching architecture and design related courses since 2006 in various capacities with universities in Turkey, Oman, UAE and UK.
