Supersudaca is a group of architects scattered around the world with one common concern: to explore the many possibilities of architecture. Lately, these have ranged from global research—such as the Al Caribe report, soon to be published by Actar—to “urban actions” in different cities, organizing competitions {www.sudapan.org}, and teaching at a various universities. Supersudaka is involved in these activities in several ways: realizing local projects on a wide range of themes, from single-family houses to community projects and urban planning. Also supporting the development of Supersudaca’s research, contributing in the publishing and graphic design elements. Additionally, taking part in innovative institutions such as the School of Architecture of the Universidad de Talca.
The modus operandi of both Supersudaka and Supersudaca is the crossbreeding of ideas, the inquiry into a plurality of truths instead of a single one. This is put into practice in the initiatives that the group has undertaken, and also defines the group’s stance in terms of how they approach to the contemporary architectural scene. The organizational structure is adaptive: it changes like a virus depending on the particular requirements and complexities of a project. In this way, overcome the specific difficulties of beginning each project by relying on collaborative patterns.
