Sait Kozacioglu commenced private architectural practice in 1992 in Ankara, Turkey; after working 18 years in public and private architectural offices in Turkey and Denmark. He has designed buildings and facilities in Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir, Mersin, Antalya, Denizli, Hatay, Mugla, Sinop and Giresun. In the 90's he has been consultant to Turkish Housing Board (TOKI) and United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
Sait Kozacioglu has served as vice president and board member at the Chamber of Architects of Turkey. He has taught at Roskilde University in Denmark and Erciyes University in Turkey. He has won numerous prizes in architectural and urban design competitions, including first and second prizes and has been a jury member of major architectural competitions.
In 2002 he has organized the "Eartquake Compatible Settlements" urban design competition jointly sponsored by the Chamber of Architects of Turkey and the Turkish Contractors Association.
