BIO
Graduated from the Universidad Autónoma de Centroamérica, and incorporated to the Colegio Federado de ingenieros y Arquitectos from Costa Rica {CFIA}. Juan Robles was included in the 32 shortlist from all over the world as a Participant of the 06 Glenn Murcutt Master class held in Australia based on sustainable architecture, reinforcing very dramatically his way of thinking and making of architecture.
Awarded in 2002 for the architectural design category from the CFIA in the area of “Sustainable architecture in the tropics”, in the VI edition of the national awards of architecture, Costa Rica. Awarded by metalco for the house “MC1”, In the IX edition of the national awards of architecture, Costa Rica.
Working on the area of design as an architect and as a technical Project director, has elaborated an important number of projects all around Costa Rica, and has participated as an architect in international projects in Panama and USA, at the same time his projects has been participating very successfully in different architecture contests and exhibitions in Costa Rica, Peru, and London where he was chosen on the shortlist of entrants in the AR AWARDS for emergent architects 2005 & 2007 organized by the architectural review magazine from England. The experience achieved is mostly on residences, as in development projects based on residential and commercial issues, this with tourist and urban interests following always
