Gianluca Aresta was born in 1982 in Monopoli, Italy. Since 2001 he has studied architecture in the Faculty of Architecture (Politecnico di Bari) and in july 2007 he graduated. Since august 2007 he has worked together with the architects Antonio Esposito and Elena Bruschi for the first prize winner project “Plaza y Symbolo del Bicentenario de la Indipendencia y Centenario de la Rivolución” in Mexico City. In 2009, together with the architect Gianpiero Conserva and the designer Paolo Tarì, he founded LAeD – Laboratorio di Architettura e Design. Gianluca still lives and works in Monopoli, Italy.
