Sharona Ghorbani is a senior lecturer in the School of Architecture & Design at the Islamic Azad University where she has been an invited lecturer. She was the Erican School of Art & Design's Deputy Coordinator as well. Sharona has supervised roughly fifty students for their theses.
Sharona has done her Ph. D. in Built Environment at UiTM, University Technology Mara Malaysia and her background studies were Master of Science in Built Environment and Bachelor Degree of Interior Architecture at UiTM. Her research interests lie in the areas of healthcare design, and environmental psychology, ranging from theory to design to implementation. She has collaborated actively with researchers in several other disciplines of sustainable architecture and preservation. She serves as reviewer committee of International Association of Civil, Agricultural and Environmental Engineering Researchers (CAEER). In addition, Sharona is founder and CEO of White Line Design Association (WLDA).
