LAN Architecture agency
LAN Architecture was created in 2002 by Benoit Jallon and Umberto Napolitano, architects DPLG, who graduated from Paris-La Villette architecture school in 2001.
Benoit Jallon
May 18th 1972, Grenoble (FR)
His fascination with structure began with his medical studies—the perfection of the body’s system of superposed layers and stratums—and informed his approach when he switched to architecture. Beginning at the School of Architecture in Tolbiac, he graduated at La Villette in 2001, with a special mention from the jury. Curiosity and a thirst for knowledge have brought him to pursue experiences abroad, particularly in Italy.
Umberto Napolitano
November 27th 1975, Naples (IT)
Educated between Italy and France, including a period in a Franco-American workshop, his work has a fundamentally international approach. The method: to continue looking abroad, examining a diversity of cultural solutions.
As he worked full-time during his studies, he quickly learned how to critically separate theory from practice. He graduated from the School of Architecture in La Villette in 2001, with a special mention from the jury, and continues to learn from exchanges and engagements with fellow architects.
