Founded in 1988 by Gilles Saucier and André Perrotte, Saucier + Perrotte architectes has gained international renown for its institutional, cultural, and residential projects. Honoured with numerous awards, including 5 Governor General's Medals in Architecture and the 2008 International Architecture Award, the office has also represented Canada at the prestigious Architecture Biennale of Venice in 2004. Saucier + Perrotte’s highly acclaimed buildings, including the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, the Communication, Culture and Technology Building (CCT), the McGill Schulich School of Music, and Michel Brisson_ menswear store) have been published the world over. While adding to its body of significant built work in Quebec and Ontario, the firm is also currently working in Alberta and Malaysia. Saucier + Perrotte has also designed projects for Japan, China, and the Middle East.
