He was born in Gorele, in 1962. He has a bachelor and master degrees in architecture from the Middle East Technical University, Ankara (1985 and 1990).
After school, he worked for Sevki Vanlı Architecture (1984-1986), MNG Targem (1986), Ilhan Kural Architecture (1987), and Sahinbas-Fikirlier Architects (1988-1990 and 1995-2003).
Since 2003 he has been working for ONCUOGLU Architecture. As an architectural designer, he participated in many recent projects of the company in Turkey, Russia and Kazakhstan.
He taught at Middle East Technical University (1993–1998) and Bilkent University (1990–1992).
He is a member of The Association of Turkish Architects in Private Practice (TSMD)
