Hector de la Peña receives the architecture degree from “Universidad La Salle” in 2000, where he imparts architectural design nowadays. He obtains the Master in Architectural Design degree from the University of Texas A&M in 2002. It is recognized with a mention of honor in the competition ""2000-01 ACSA/AISC Student Design Competition"". He initiates professional practices in the firm KMD-Architects, where he is invited to participate in a permanent way. He collaborates, in both Mexico and San Francisco with the firm up to 2007
