This thesis discusses the manifestation & realization of poetics through experience of creative space. The poetic image is a better understanding, or awareness, of the world we dwell in using art, memory and material.

Museums are making their importance felt steadily in Pakistan. This importance lies in their gradually becoming effective centres of nation-building activity. The emphasis on the routine functions of the museum viz: collection of objects, their preservation and research has in recent years shifted to educational purposes. Indeed this outstanding development has been the chief spur to the re-planning of all forms of museum work.

In oral culture, survival of groups and perpetuation of identities relied on human memory. Of all the techniques for making the lord of a social group memorable, the most important is story-telling.
Dreams and Memory make up part of cognitive pschycology which concerns the sense of belonging as opposed to feeling lost.
The National Museum of Pakistan is currently cited in Burns Garden, and is subjected to abandonment and neglect.
The building is not fully developed to its full attention of appeal to viaitors making it a dormant space in the chaotic landscape of sadder.
The site’s edges connect to a different variety of blocks, such as administrative, cultural, corporate & educational institutions. Thus the site becomes a melting pot of memories, dreams and emotive systems. Sadly this attribute has not been addressed until now.
