this entry uses the simple sphere shape of a glass globe to symbolize the concept of peace and a peaceful planet

the globe is covered by a continual flow of water which streams down to a still collecting pond

the continents of the earth are visible from many viewpoints
through the glass and water amid reflections of the present

the representation of the earth becomes something at once precious and fragile

four sentry fountains operate only when they sense the presence of people
