Eastern Pacific Shipping Headquarters, Millenia Tower, Singapore

Eastern Pacific Shipping is one of the largest privately owned ship management companies in the world. When the company expanded at Millenia Tower in Singapore, Studio X was appointed to consolidate its headquarters into a single, purpose-built workplace of 10,000 sq ft on the 37th floor, completed in 2025. The brief was a space that reflected the culture of the business: operational discipline, physical competitiveness and a drive to outperform. Studio X developed the concept from beginning to end and managed delivery across an eight-month programme. From a bare shell, the floor now holds open working areas, meeting rooms, staff development facilities, a professional cycling training studio and a gallery of the sporting clubs in EPS's portfolio. The gym sits in the 270-degree window bay, anchored by an artificial skylight that reproduces the qualities of natural daylight through the day. A central rotunda links the two office zones, the gym and the changing facilities. Divider screens are made from single-use plastic recovered from three EPS vessels, each panel carrying a brass plaque naming its ship, and a deep blue acoustic felt ceiling over the main working zone is lit upwards to give height. A 10,000 sqft workplace for one of the world’s largest privately-owned ship management companies, shaped by a culture built on high-performance, endurance, and competitive drive.

The brief was to create a space that genuinely reflected the culture of the business - a company defined by operational discipline, physical competitiveness, and a drive to outperform. EPS sponsors elite sporting teams including Movistar Team and Atlético Madrid, and runs a biennial company-wide endurance challenge in which its global workforce collectively covers hundreds of thousands of kilometres on foot and by bike. This is not a business that treats wellness as a line item. It is embedded in how they operate.
