Project description:
The F artist village in Xixi wetland consists of 5 modern courtyards. Since the site is surrounded three sides by the water, the layout of the 5 courtyards is like five drops of water on a lotus leaf, easy and free, written into the site like the Chinese character of water. The prototype of the courtyard is the courtyard in Guozhuang Garden in Hangzhou, which shows us classical treatment of space between inside and outside, for example with broad and wide windows like panorama, and the small window like focus lens, to catch different kinds of landscape.
