A school is seen as an institution where pupils/students learn from teachers; develop attributes of exploring, learning and interacting at a formative age. Hence the concept of the school building was to provide an interactive environment for learning and be removed from the image of stereotyped institution for ‘teaching’ occupied by ‘teachers’. Thus, aspects upon which the project focused on are-
1. Space/Form: its articulation,interaction between solid and void, inter relationship between interior and exterior, site dynamics
2. Functional Aspects: physical accommodation, hierarchy, linkages, accessibility, circulation and relevant technical details
3. Environmental needs: climatic aspects, comfort issues, ventilation, solar shading and day lighting
