We have established an internationally refined luxury style characterized by relaxed freedom as our core design identity. This has evolved into two design starting points: a gallery of time and harmonious coexistence with nature. Guided by the design philosophy of “relaxed classics”, we hold the belief that a home should be soft, unhurried, artistic, and imbued with a sense of time. It allows residents to attain a peaceful living experience while serving as a vessel for family stories, artistic taste, and social needs. The overall design deeply integrates artistic expression, functionality, and a sense of ease. It not only fulfills the personalized usage requirements of family members but also creates a living atmosphere that combines international aesthetics with human warmth. As a result, the home becomes a dual-dimensional space: both a flowing art gallery and a warm harbor for daily life.
The concept of an art gallery runs throughout the entire spatial design. From the artistic entry corridor and sculptural pieces in the living lounge to the flowing gallery in the family activity area and the display of works by emerging artists, the home is no longer merely a living space but a haven for artistic inspiration. It breaks down the boundary between art exhibitions and daily living, elevating the humanistic and artistic quality of the space.
Each floor is designed to achieve a dual layout of single function and composite scenarios. For instance, the family activity area doubles as both a music room and an art gallery, supporting the children’s harp study as well as the lady’s artistic creation and display. The reception lounge on the basement level integrates a wine-tasting zone, a tea-tasting zone and a collection exhibition area, accommodating diverse scenarios such as private casual drinking, friends’ appreciation events and high-end artistic socializing. This approach enhances the spatial efficiency and scenario adaptability of the interior.
Starting with the social and artistic space on the basement level, including the wine cellar, art corridor and reception lounge, moving to the family-oriented artistic space on the middle floor consisting of the music room and gallery, proceeding to the daily living space on the first floor with the living and dining area and the elder’s bedroom, and finally to the private resting space on the second floor featuring the master bedroom and children’s rooms, each floor presents a distinct atmosphere. The design achieves a clear spatial hierarchy of socializing, family bonding, daily living and relaxation. Meanwhile, the consistent use of colors, materials and soft furnishings ensures stylistic coherence throughout the entire space, catering to the client’s atmospheric needs for diverse living scenarios.
For the millwork elements throughout the space, including the custom millwork in the tea-tasting area, the curved wooden screens in the master bedroom, and cabinetry in all functional zones, eco-friendly wood materials are selected. Meanwhile, overly rustic wood textures are avoided to maintain premium material quality and desired design outcomes. The use of non-environmentally friendly adhesives and coatings is minimized to reduce renovation-related pollutants and safeguard the health of residents.
A multifunctional spatial design is adopted to enable each area to adapt to a variety of usage scenarios. This prevents the need for spatial renovations due to changing family needs and reduces resource consumption and pollution caused by secondary decoration. Meanwhile, flexible zones are reserved in the spatial layout to allow minor adjustments to furnishings and arrangements in line with the family’s evolving lifestyle, such as the growth of children and shifting social demands. This enhances the long-term usability of the space and achieves sustainability at the spatial level.
Natural lighting and ventilation are fully considered in the spatial design. Major areas including the art corridor, reception lounge, and family activity zone are designed with ample daylight access, while spaces such as the elder’s bedroom and balcony balance both natural light and ventilation. By maximizing natural lighting and ventilation, the use of artificial lighting and air-conditioning equipment is reduced, lowering energy consumption and embodying the eco-friendly design philosophy.
The overall design abandons excessive decorative hard and soft furnishings, centered on simplicity without being simplistic. It reduces the use of unnecessary materials and minimizes resource waste during the renovation process. Meanwhile, the concise design makes the space easier to clean and maintain, lowering energy and material consumption in daily living, which aligns with the concept of sustainable design.
