The aim of the project is to construct an environment that reflects the emotional and visual experience of a person under the water. To achieve this, design is concentrated to explore and create a space that amplifies fluidity and transparency. Morphed mass of the structure incrementally changes in volume and shape and gradually translates to another motional behavior. Twenty six cross sections spaced in every two meters support the organic form of the gallery space. These pull-wound profiles are wrapped with carbon fibers in combination with epoxy resin creating the extremely rigid, semi transparent skin of the gallery. The profiles’ varying shapes and sizes yield a dynamic, constantly changing environment as the visitors move around the gallery. Gallery Space is designed to exhibit alternative art, fashion and media events.
