The public post office and 10-storey equipment tower comprise the main communications facilities of Baghdad. A four-storey, long block contains the post office with the postal hall on the ground level with additional public services on the mezzanine. The second and third levels contain the offfices. The telecommunications block is set back from the street. A central service tower links the two blocks.
