The overarching objective is to help the community of Pañacocha, through participatory processes, to identify the most important parts of their culture and spatial form. As a result of this investigation, it was found that the point at issue is a consequence of socio-economic and historic circumstances that discourage traditional kichwa culture, especially among the youth. Through participative educational activities, older members of the community re-introduce children and adolescents to traditional customs that are no longer taught. This research was through community participation workshops in regional, community planning and architecture in a kichwa community in the Amazon of Ecuador. People from the community provided us the information on routes, daily activities, loved and hated places in the community, only after this we started to have a sense of how they use the space. After the regional and community workshops, we worked on the participatory construction of the kichwa house club ( named ¨our club¨ by the participants) had the involvement of adolescents and members of the community as mentors.
