TCA`s bold, original design created a spacious, inventive and light-filled house out of an old garage. The rooms are bright and dynamic, entirely unconventional in the way they were conceived, which makes the experience of passing through surprising and delightful. Each floor has a different configuration, but relates to the others because of the open-ness of the plan and the transparency of the design.

Notable features of the renovation include the glass ceiling on the first floor; open back walls; a grass lawn on the roof and outdoor shower on the same level, a fake-flower-covered garden wall, an indoor-outdoor koi pond, and the well-integrated luxuries of an elevator and indoor parking. The owner`s investment {purchase price and gross cost of the renovation} approximately doubled after work was completed.
