UNIVERSITIES HAVE AN IMPORTANT ROLE OF CREATION PUBLIC SPACES; IN ONE HAND UNIVERSITIES ARE THE SPACES THAT KNOWLEDGE ARE CREATED, NEGOTIATED AND SHARED WITH IN THE PUBLIC. ON THE OTHER HAND, IT IS THE PUBLIC SPACE THAT MAKE BOTH UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY AND PEOPLE OUT OF THE COMMUNITY INTERACT EACH OTHER. GETTING TOGETHER WITH STUDENTS AND ACADEMICIANS WITHIN THE DIFFEREFNT PLATFORMS, NEGOTIATION AND SHARING IDEAS ARE SIGNIFICANT.

IN THIS CONTEXT, EVERY PROPOSED IDEAS ABOUT THE SITE SHOULD INTEGRATE THE SPACES AND PEOPLE. THESE PROPOSAL’S FOCUS POINT SHOULD BE MUTLIPLE BUT BE IDENTIFIED CONSTRUCTION WITH HELP OF CULTURAL FOCUS. THE AIM IS TO CREATE A GATHERING, MEETING AND COMMON EVENT AREA IN RESPECT TO THE NATURAL AND SOCIAL DATA OF THE LOCAL TEXTURE.

THE INTENTION IS TO CREATE AN ENVIRONMENT THAT SUPPORTS SOCIAL INTERACTION AND HELPS TO DEVELOP INTELLECTUAL POTENTIAL. THE OPEN SPACES ARE DESIGNED TO GATHER AND BALANCE. THE ELEMENTS THAT CREATES THE OPEN SPACES SUCH AS STREETS, WALKING PATHS, GREEN AREAS, COURTYARDS, SQUARES,GARDENS AND SPORT AREAS ARE THE CONNECTORS THAT HAVE DIFFERENT POTENTIALS.

MORE PUBLIC SPACES ARE DESIGNED TO HAVE THE SOCIAL INTERACTION IN THE UPPER LEVEL. EACH FACULTY HAS THE BALANCE OF PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SPACE.

THE SITE IS LOCATED ON A HILL. IN FIRST SIGHT, THE INCLINATION COULD BE SEEN AS AN ADVANTAGE BUT FOR THIS KIND OF MULTIPLE CORE BUILDINGS( CAMPUS) , IT IS NOT EFFICIENT.

THEREFORE, IN THE DESIGN PROCESS, WE CAREFULLY WORK ON HOW TO CREATE SUFFICIENT AND OPTIMUM CONDITIONS BETWEEN THE INCLINES AND BUILDINGS.

ONE OF THE IMPORTANT THINGS IN THE CAMPUS LIFE IS TO REACH EACH FACULY OR SOCIAL ACVITIY AREA EASILY. THENCE, WE STRIVE TO CREATE MAIN CORE ON A SPINE THAT CAN BE REACHED BY EVERY USER.
CAMPUS SQUARE IS LOCATED IN THE SOUTH MIDDLE PART BY TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION THE INCLINES. THEREBY, INCLUDING THE DEVELOPMENT AREAS, PEDESTRIANS CAN REACH IN MAX 10 MIN TO EACH POINT.
BY TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION THE TYPOLOPGY OF CAMPUS LIFE AND CLIMATIC DATA, EACH FACULTY BUILDING HAS PROTECTED COURTYARD AND COMFORT ZONE AREAS. THE SPACES ARE PROTECTED FROM THE PREVAILING WIND WITH EITHER BUILDING OR LANDSCAPE.

PEDESTRIAN PATHS THROUGH THE MAIN CAMPUS ENABLE FLEXIBLE DEVELOPMENT.PARALLEL DEVELOPING PATH SYSTEM CREATES GRIDAL CONSTRUCTION IN SPINE AND IT PUSHES THE VECHICLE ROAD IN TO THE OUTER SKIN. SO, PEDESTRIAN MOVES BE PROVOKED.

THE PROPOSAL PROJECT AIMS TO CORRESPOND SOCIAL AND CULTURAL NEEDS. IN THIS CONTEXT, WITH THE BALANCE OF OPEN AND INDOOR SPACES MAKE THE CAMPUS MORE EFFICIENT AND COMFORTABLE. WHILE RECREATION AREAS INTEGRATES WITH THE NATURE AND BE SUSTAINABLE, IT IS NOT JUST ABOUT VISUALITY ALSO IT SHOULD BE FUNCTIONAL.THE CHOICES OF THE LANDSCAPE ELEMENTS ARE DECIDED ACCORDING TO THE NEEDS OF WATER AND ADAPTATION TO THE CURRENT LANSCAPE TEXTURE. THUS, THE COST OF MAINTENANCE IS CUT DOWN.
