Escape Zone X (Extreme Experience Bunker)

designed to protect people or valued materials from natural and man-made disasters. and at peace time as an extreme experience bunker where people can go to and live the experience of living underground with all the basic needs of life and supplies it is also located in a beautiful tourist area where water and fresh air and natural resources are available,a bunker that users in danger times use as a shelter and at peace time a tourist destination.

location: Al-Shita valley ,Amman Jordan

the project is divided into four main zones:
1-administration
2-dormitories
3-services
4-entertainment
Facilitated with clinic ,classrooms,sleeping units, library,theatre,gym,pool,sauna,security check,supply room, research and communication,cafe,food processor ,and generators bunker users must feel that they are in peace
normal everyday users must feel the experience of extreme conditions
the main concept was to camouflage hide the bunker physically underground with a few spaces semi-underground to give hope for the bunker users to connect and see the outside and hide the bunker by creating a fake function above ground like plazas ,gardens, connection path between two levels and the spaces that are above ground will be restaurant,library.the form was inspired from the site itself (the cracked shaded path with the water tunnels similar to the valley concept,and the shell is an abstract of the lime stone shape pointed from the mountains in the site and all of that held by the trussed structure which gives the impression of securing the whole thing and dragging it from the inside of the mountain to overlook the wonders of Al-Shita valley.
