A SMALL HOUSE LOCATED IN THE CITY OF XALAPA, VERACRUZ, MEXICO, OF 120 SQUARE METERS OF CONSTRUCTION, WHOSE LOCATION ON THE LAND IS COMPLETELY BASED ON THE CONSERVATION AND RESPECT OF TWO LARGE TREES IN THE CENTER OF THE PROPERTY.

THE HOUSE STANDS ON FOUR REINFORCED CONCRETE SUPPORTS ANCHORED TO THE GROUND, AWAY FROM THE ROOTS OF THESE TWO LARGE TREES, SEPARATED FROM EACH OF THE CENTERS OF THEIR TRUNKS BY A RADIUS OF NOT LESS THAN 6 METERS.

THE MAIN STRUCTURE THAT SUPPORTS THE HOUSE WAS DESIGNED AS TWO LARGE STEEL FRAMES ARRANGED IN SUCH A WAY THAT A TOTAL FREE DISTANCE BETWEEN SUPPORTS OF 20M IS ACHIEVED. WITH THIS, IT WAS ACHIEVED TO RAISE THE GROUND FLOOR 1.5 METERS ABOVE THE GROUND, THUS REMAINING THE HOUSE FLOATED IN ALMOST ITS ENTIRETY, GIVING AN EFFECT OF LIGHTNESS IN EACH ONE OF THE ARCHITECTURAL ELEMENTS.

ACCESS TO THE HOUSE IS THROUGH A SMOOTH STAIRCASE WHICH LEADS TO A SMALL WOODEN TERRACE IN FRONT OF THE MAIN ACCESS. A GLASS BOX SURROUNDS THE STEEL STRUCTURE, THUS CREATING THE SEPARATION BETWEEN EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR.

THE OUTSIDE AREAS ARE TREATED WITH GARDENS, PLANTS AND MATERIALS THAT ALLOW THE PERMEABILITY OF THE LAND.

THE HOUSE HAS TWO COMPLETE SEPARATE ROOMS, AN AREA FOR LIVING ROOM, DINING ROOM AND A SMALL WORK AREA LINKED BY A WINDOW TO THE TERRACE; THE KITCHEN AND SERVICE AREAS ARE LOCATED AT THE BACK OF THE HOUSE.

A WOOD AND GLASS STRUCTURE COVERS THE HOUSE IN ALMOST ALL OF ITS AREAS.
