We are in the era of data. We are surrounded by data in every aspect of our lives, from personal phones to satellite communications. It is the most powerful and valuable tool that fosters industries, technology, production in 21th century and has been used in every sector. By collecting, analysing, governing and sharing data, societies and communities gain considerable power nearly in all fields. Day by day, depending on the production processes, we are confronting a huge amount of structured and unstructured data that should be stored and processed. Today, data management is required in many fields for to control and organize data.
The dictionary equivalent is “Forwarding; changing information by selecting, adding, subtracting.” Manipulation, which is the main reason for the data universe, causes the principles of truth and reality to go beyond the data universe.
Since the existence of humanity, the data universe has grown in parallel. Especially with technology, people can easily access the teachings. Societies have completed the transition from the "listening" structure to the "watching" structure. Today, the situation has become such that each individual has become a data creator himself. As such, individuals have become particles floating in the data universe. Because the uses of the data are so diverse and often not limited to an initial purpose, individuals cannot conceptualize how their data will be collected and used or reused. Individuals can use this helplessness as an opportunity and the participatory culture of societies can be used to transform the strengths of a free society into weak points and ultimately to threaten freedom of expression and civil rights.
Today, where human-society communication can be established in a short time with media tools, we are more exposed to manipulated data. In social media, each end user can also be considered as a direct news source. In this context, I propose an “Independent Data and News Network” to prevent manipulated data from taking place in social media or print publications and to be examined.
Village Institutes located in Ankara, the capital city of Turkey, were exposed to manipulative statements and were closed after 1946. The land has a high potential to raise awareness in this sense.

The land is located on the edge of the agricultural land called Hamurbasan Ridge, in the middle of the Hasan and Asar Rivers. A railway line reaching up to the land also creates an alternative for transportation.
There is a building used as a museum because the land has an identity that touches history. In addition, it is possible to separate the existing structures as used and unused. While the dormitory, high school, open-air theater, teacher's house, administration building are in use; the cafeteria, music hall, workshops and sports facilities, especially the printing house, are not active.
Considering my concept, I chose the piece that was used as a student ceremony area next to the printing house for the settlement.
