The city of Mumbai (previously known as Bombay), within a span of two centuries, grew from a conglomerate of seven uninhabited islands, and a series of land reclamations into the prosperous bustling metropolis of today.Over a period, especially in view of the small footprint of the island city, there has been very dense development around these deserted Textile mills lands leading to soaring land values. Ignoring the potential of these lands was detrimental to the interests of the city. The National Commission on Urbanisation chaired by
Ar. Charles Correa had in the year 1987 strongly recommended recycling of these lands. Accordingly, the D. C. Regulations of Greater Mumbai, forming part of revised Development Plan of the City made provisions in this regard.
The plot having a sea face, each residence is designed having a beautiful view of the Arabian sea. Maximum luxury is provided as the lifestyle of the Mumbai city.

commodity in the island city, one part to be developed as low-cost housing for MHADA allottees or the Textile workers staying in the plot historically and the remaining be put to appropriate commercial/ residential uses that the owner would wish.
