What does a minute mean for you? A human body who has faced heart attack means life or death and for one whose house is on fire means missing his asset. Nonetheless, in urge conditions minutes get stuck in traffic and firefighters reaches the scene when nothing remains from the building. Traffic, phenomena which most of the countries meet with and waste people time in Metropolises that multiple financial and bane loss when disasters occur. While Isfahan is a connectional joint for some other province and has increasing population, feels traffic problem vitally. Therefore, existence of a traffic management center is really necessary. Moreover, urban traffic culture of each city is a criterion to measure the civilization of that city.
Traffic control center, in Farahabad park is placed in Isfahan southwest. This building follows site topography and is the final point for bent lines in the park. Therefore, we tried to design this building in the way that makes 360 degrees view for us this building is on the Zagros hillside, and like the eye of the city that verge to the whole site that emphasizes skyline and cyan domes. Unique shape of this building came from old history of Isfahan in Iran that is help us to keep our identity in contemporary building in new era. Structure of this building derived from structural dome Submerged in the soil like a YAKHCHAL,With its shell inspired from Sheikh Lotfollah mosque transformed to a climate plan that has its own identity and while follows its context, it is an index building that can be a symbol for Isfahan.
