Upsalla Congress & Concert - Sweden`s second most populous city is on the move and developing quickly. As part of this wave the city held a competition for a new exhibition/trade fair/ congress center, combined with a 65 seat concert hall to be erected adjacenet to one of the city`s most important plazas. The concept surrounds the main functions with an indoor street which acts as a pre-foyer and allows everyday pedestrians to escape the cold and take a shortcut. The indoor street connects commercial spaces to the main function and is dimensioned to allow for "outdoor" cafe`s .
