Located in Luanda, the largest city and one of the most beautiful areas in Angola, Mangais Eco Resort sits next to a breath-taking African forest with giant trees and wild animals.

The site of this 5-start hotel is strategically positioned at the centre of the resort to take advantage of the beautiful views towards the forest on the eastern side, and the Polo and Golf course on both northern and southern side.

The design approach is rooted from its context where it’s taking inspiration from local vernacular architecture and style.

The hotel units are designed as African huts using local material such as timber and hay stack for roofing, which will blend with the natural backdrop of the African landscape.

Sense of arrival takes a dramatic surprise moment when approaching the lobby which reveals itself as a hidden African tent within a small village, giving visitors an amazing experience to remember.

The hotel is made of 120 keys, and all hotel units are elevated on columns to take advantage of the magnificent views surrounding the site.

On site guests can enjoy a number of recreational activities such as golf, horse-riding and hiking. Guests can also take time to unwind with activities such as yoga and meditation to be fully present, or take some time to relax completely at the hotel's spa that offers a number of treatments and therapies.

Mangais Eco Resort is the result of local tradition and the beautiful natural African landscape which will make it a memorable experience for all guests and visitors.
