KONKA Headquarters, Shenzhen,China- China`s largest producer of TVs, radio and now mobile phones has outgrown their present headquarters and wishes to relocate to a more exposed site, with an iconic building as its showpiece. Three towers are combined into one building, surrounded by an undulating second skin on the upper floors. The building will be shared with other firms, thus separate lobbies were requested. This, plus the mild/subtropical climate made it possible to expose the three towers at the lower levels to create an open-air main lobby. The KONKA skylobby is located on the 19th floor, a triple-height space with spectacular views over the north of Shenzhen. Project is pending.
