The program of this project is quite strange. The client wants to build with certain amount of floor area without deciding specific program. The only thing that is certain is he wants a small house and some interesting space. A guideline of this site requires the two building boundaries and the maximum height that is 12m. We decided to make a small volume as a house and the other as a multi-purpose space that can be used as office, gallery or art school for children. What we want to make here is a spatial exploration in 3 dimensions. Used the guideline volume as a space boundary, we propose two different interlocking spaces. Because there is a gap between the floor area and the volume, there are possibilities to do volumetric approaches rather than a plane one. The house that is simple box with 7.5m wide, 12m deep and 12m high is wrapped with greenery and will be perceived as an extrusion of earth. Inside of it every space that has a different height and section is interlocking each other. The other building has a piloti for parking for outdoor rest place. Upper box with windows of maximum size has two different spaces in it. Second floor that we call `field` is one single space with some high spaces that connect it to the third floor. The third floor-`corner`-has small corner like rooms that are spread in the rectangular volume. With these different spaces one can house various programs for changing condition. The windows don`t give a tip to understand the inner space and make the building more ambiguous. Without articulation from the outside the volume and space give more powerful impression.
