Research Natural Light In Architecture
If architecture is the art of conceiving form then lighting is the art of revealing that form in light. Natural light is the soul of architecture. Architectural space can be esteemed as a mechanism to catch light .The study was to promote daylight conscious design. Daylighting a building starts from conceptual design phase. The selection of systems and their application comprising of initial stage planning parameters, such as basic decisions on shape and windows size, as well as specific functional objectives of the daylighting strategies. Advanced daylighting systems and control strategies are another step forwards in providing daylit, user-friendly, energy-efficient building environments.

It is a building of unusual transparency. It is this transparency which declares its daylight credentials; the intension was to provide an office building which would maximize the use of daylight and give the impression of being wholly lit by natural light. The floor plates are arranged so that no one sits more than 13 m from a window, and artificial lighting is not generally required during the day. The windows are all triple glazed on all but the north side, with fully automated light shelves.
