Inside a Smile

We begun the Project in 2007. We were commissioned to design the extension for a dental clinic that had been designed 8 years earlier by another architect.
The new area was to contrast with the existing one, respecting the quality of the earlier design, but directed at new doctors and new patients.
The extension explored lines and colors that embrace contemporary concepts of space and comfort. The new space became feminine, in contrast with the austerity of the existing space. It became colored, more dynamic, more spontaneous, more free, creating a lighter atmosphere and freeing patients from the stress of a dental clinic.
The natural light entrances were explored and enhanced through sinuous lines that contribute with the feminine space, turning it more sensual, more gentile.
