ICE SKI ARENA REFLECTING BLOBITECTURE

Unconventional forms of architecture have always inspired me, and I had been exploring and experimenting with my own expression of such unconventional forms since some time now. Thus, I started the thesis year with a research on Blob Architecture.

CHARACTERISTICS OF BLOB

• A viscous composite that is fluid like, and easily formed and/or deformed.
• A gelatinous surface, having no regular shape.
• A freely complex, non-formal geometry.
