The green park cycle consisting of Copenhagens historic ramparts, extends through the central city and has the potential to become an even stronger urban and recreational stretch. It has the potential to unite the citys history and draw a trace in the modern metropolis, as an intermediate line, which tells about the world, nature and its origin.

If you place a new natural history museum in the natural history faculty or in the existing buildings of geological museum you will maintain two incoherent complexes.
By placing a new museum underground we link the two building structures. This allows the museum and research complex to be closely related on an everyday basis.

Earth is pushed down in a diamond-shaped structure to the north. The building will be visible only from Sørvgade (Silver Street) and keep the old green area in the botanical garden.

WE establish a new entrance to the museum through the botanical garden and through the courtyard of the geological museum.
