This project is a campus assignment, in which was provided approximately 4 months for the process. This building is a boutique hotel with 10 stories. There is an old building named Mpu Tantular Museum to be preserved, but finally I changed its function as a restaurant. The site is located as a center, with 2 avenues on both its left and right, so it results in the entrance of the hotel being located at both sides. The hotel rooms are located in 2 towers, and there is a podium which contains retails, multifunction and restaurant. The construction of the building is a form of deformation of Mpu Tantular’s special roof, which the building cover by concrete cladding. The main point is located in the middle of the circle where visitors coming from both sides of the traffic flow are being dropped off, and it is functioning as the main lobby of the hotel as well. In addition, there is also an open space connecting the hotel and Mpu Tantular. The open space is covered by a roof perimeter, which is a result of the repetition of the center circle.
