the new media business cluster in moscow has high ambitions: media park moscow is russia’s prime and dominant media cluster. above all it is a modern ‘content factory’ and a multi-device distribution hub for russia’s media businesses. its tenant mix, facilities, size, accessibility,
brand and price give the unique media park moscow a sustainable competitive advantage in the russian media market sector.
media park moscow provides synergy for all companies located there. the possibility to meet, interact and cooperate with other companies and to profit from media park moscow’s strong brand. it aims at companies that are currently situated in and around moscow’s city centre as well as new international companies.
media park moscow is an attractive place to work, live and learn, with all the technical, spatial, supporting and cultural facilities present.
a compact design aims to minimalize the environmental impact of this development plan. a extensive water management system is part of this goal.
the cross media city covers the main s of the media park moscow, e.g. production facilities, offices and services. the ring road encloses this media park core, providing the core with rigid boundaries, emphasized by 7.5 m elevation of the whole area. the deck not only provides room for parking spaces, storage and technical facilities underneath but also strengthens the accessibility of the studios.
the media square (within the cross media city zone) is the true heart of the moscow media park and is therefore centrally – noticeable – located. in addition high density parts of the media park are clustered around the media square, making use of their apparentness. high rise buildings include the hotel and offices. other high rise (office) buildings are located along the new freeway in the south part of the media park.
the grid of the cross media city and the (green and low-rise) business estate lobes provide a flexible and recognizable structure. phasing starts at the media square, going four directions: within the core to the north and south, within lobes to the west and east.
