LIGHT SQUARE GRID.

A grid is a non-transitional entity.
The solidified elements, such as fixed columns and walls, are anti-natural and determinate, as they restrict possibilities of incompletion and infinite extension of the space.
Natural light is an original source of existence, which has a strong relationship with our daily lives. It is infinite, natural and irregular. We suggest the Light Square Grid (LSG), which is created by inverting the solid frame of the Nine Square Grid (9SG) introducing a new mechanism for grid varying every moment. 9SG defines fixed space whereas LSG creates virtual and transitional one. These two different grids are superimposed on the upper floor, releasing the variable moment. The energy can be maximized through the atrium which is center of moment.
A column is an element, which defines the present. Certain points of the present time can be recognized continuously due to the interpenetrating columns according to the 9SG all the way down to the ground floor. By lifting the residence up, boundary between garden and residence disappears offering Garden City a possibility of extension. 9SG defines the space in the present and the LSG creates a space in the past and the future. Living rooms and atrium are positioned according to the LSG, which harmonizes the past, present and future. Private spaces for personal needs are defined with 9SG. Adjustment of actual partitions on the floor is carried out according to the 9SG, which is composed of vertical and horizontal coordination. The spaces are embodied by a virtual LSG, which is a diagonal grid with hierarchy. Superimposition of these two universal grids creates much more flexible spaces, allowing users` demands to be satisfied.
