As architecture studio we were attracted with the idea to work in the Vanguard Building, our last Offices project. This building, as all our works was created with only one material, in this opportunity with white steal. This material was used in all exteriors and interiors of the building, also in the six storey hall: the soul of the building where the white steal was neutral to permit the light and the total space were protagonist.
As the same way our studio was entirely white. Place in the first sub floor was an L shaped turn a patio of 11 x 11 mts that is the extension of our atelier and offices. Located in the first sub floor (in a 500 mts place) permit us to project our studio in a space with an interior height of 330 cms with very success natural light. The plan was not orthogonal, that permit as to tense the circulations and the space.
The main idea of our studio project was work in the better spatial and natural light conditions.
At the same way that all our projects and the same way of the Vanguard Offices Building too we work with one material and one colour, we opted for the white: all the walls and roofs where white. The floor was a light grey ceramic that collaborate with the white sensation (the same floor in the entire studio) and we separate the spaces with transparent crystals that collaborate too. The white permit light and space is the protagonist. The furniture was white too and also the chairs were white, there are no elements that compete with the white, finally with the white we permit the light was the most important material.
