Our proposal for a design competition called by the Federation of Colleges of Engineers and Architects of Costa Rica, this project’s central ideas revolved around “green architecture” where using local materials to reduce their embodied energy and producing clean renewable energy along with clear formal expressions of tropical sustainable architecture were most important and give formal expression to the project.
