Description

The Grand Stand for a horse race track is located in Saudi Arabia close to Tebrack, 150 Km from Ryadh. This building is part of Nofa Equestrian Resort.
The building design was inspired by the sand dunes of Saudi desert and the constant changing color as the sun rises on the horizon. The building is facing the East and West is on the back. Most of the races starts in the afternoon when sunset is close to the horizon.
A 180 meters Teflon tent expands on the North-South direction with dune shape back structural wall on which the tent is connected. The wall faces West to block the sun from sunset and in the middle opens up to create the main entry
