4.5 storied office building blend of art meets architecture. Interior layout plan of the building is suitable for both the office spaces and apartments living spaces.
A little story od a water world is written on the exterior design-Blue glazed glass windows are meant to be river, Green walls by the side of the windows are meant to be the river bank, Curved vorners projections on two sides r the abstract form of Sailboat Flags, Parapet walls on the top are meant to be Fishe floating on the water. All the staircase parapet walls are the fish mouth. South/West corners gives a image of a face with two eyes looking at the sunset and straight to the road...The pointed tops also symbolizes the mountain peaks of Napal..
As Parking spaces are very limited in Kathmandu, the whole ground floor area of the building is planned for the Parking. Creating a basement was not fisible because of ot large Land Area. By making the ground floor area Open Parking space, this also gives the openness to the surroundings and helps the flow of air and green energy.
This building is one of a kind and successful unique design for the country like Nepal, where we dnt have much efficient skilled man powers, better technology to easily the bend the Architectural lines and where art is less used in the building`s architectural features....
