This house is situated in Batam, one of Indonesian gateway to Singapore and Malaysia.

As it`s erected on existing structure on a housing compound in Batam, we try to keep its original structure and attached new one on top of it.

The house itself appeared to be contrast to its surroundings as a critic to the way of direction and image how Batam was developed.

The facade uses secondary skin made of perforated metal in order to allow fresh air circulated in the building, to minimize the usage of air-conditioner without compromising security factor.

By so doing the building will have different look in day or night.
