A penthouse on 18m by 25m roof of a four-storey apartment building
in Makkah. It is attached with the appartment underneath
through a single flight stairs. The idea is to incorporate the
elevator shaft, the staircase and the two light-wells into
the mass of the penthouse harmoniously. A roof garden is defined with the curved low wall. The first photograph provides a glimpse of the interior with the model
open.
