Dawntown08 Miami Florida Compeition Entry

-an architectural ideas competition to beautify an unattractive, existing sewerage pumphouse located in front of a planned $40 million city park and multi-million dollar
art and science museums

-this entry proposes to house the five 350 horsepower pumps and piping in a glass building to display the municipal infrastructure to the public

-additionally in this proposal, the pumps are to be powered by a 36 unit array of concentrating, tracking solar electricity generators

-due to shading from adjacent tall buildings, the solar array has five hours each day to produce the electricity required by the five pumps to operate for 24 hours
