This website explores the temporary town for 35,000women that was the 1995 NGO Forum, and offers resources for teachingand learning about gender and the built environment. The Forum ran parallel to the Fourth UN World Conference on Women. Lookingat the built form of that town, and the activities within it, one seesmany of the issues women around the globe encounter in their everydaylives.
