sustainablog started in July, 2003, as an experiment in “writing tolearn”: author Jeff McIntire-Strasburg, then an assistant professor ofEnglish, decided to apply some of the concepts he preached to hisstudents to his budding interest in sustainability. The rest, as theysay, is history: sustainablog is now one of the longest-running greenblogs on the web.sustainablog joined the Green Options Medianetwork in November, 2007, and is now home to multiple writers fromaround the network. As Jeff still considers it his baby, he contributesfrequently on some of his favorite topics: green business, renewableenergy technology, environmental politics and policy, sustainability inhigher education, and stories of real people trying to lighten theirenvironmental footprints. You’ll find a little bit of everything atsustainablog…sustainablog has received mentions in the San Francisco Chronicle, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the Sacramento News & Review, Review of Policy Research, and on dozens of blogs and sites around the web.
