ARCHIFEST 2013

A FESTIVAL OF IDEAS FOR THE CITY
27 SEP – 13 OCT 2013

Come join us in exploring everything small and beautiful about the city!

Archifest – Singapore’s annual Festival of Ideas for the City by the Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) is here again. Through the lens of a new theme “Small is Beautiful”, Archifest 2013 will explore and celebrate projects, design studios, communities and ideas that might be small by choice and circumstance but are large in ambition and impact. The festival will also invite visitors and guests to pause and notice the small, humble and respectful things around us that make living in the city wonderful.

Check out our calendar or visit the Pavilion and tag us in your photos with#smallisbeautifulsg #archifest2013

- SMALL IS BEAUTIFUL

Conference

This year, the Archifest Conference replaces the traditional forum. The Conference will feature six respected thinkers and practitioners from Singapore and overseas with much to contribute in various facets of “Small is Beautiful”: Small eco-footprint, Small design studios, Small communities, Small projects, etc.

Always a highly anticipated annual event for the industry, the one-day Conference will be a day full of shared experiences and ideas, a roundtable discussion of issues pertinent to our urban environment. Following the Conference is the SIA Design Awards Presentation Ceremony, which will celebrate the best works by our local architects. Come join us for a day dedicated to architecture in Singapore!
